Check SEA Parking Availability

Which SEA Parking Option Should You Choose?

One- or two-day trip

Start with General Parking. Walking from the airport garage may justify the price when your stay is short and you want to avoid a shuttle.

Busy weekend or school break

Consider Reserved Parking. The higher rate may be worthwhile when certainty and Floor 4 terminal access matter more than saving $10 per day.

Three to six days

Compare General and off-site totals. Check the complete price after taxes and fees, then weigh the savings against shuttle time.

One week or longer

Compare the $222 official weekly rate. Off-site parking, a hotel package, rideshare or light rail may produce a lower overall cost.

Electric vehicle

Use designated charging spaces. SEA provides EV charging for parking customers on a first-come, first-served basis; availability is not guaranteed.

Early flight or late return

Confirm every transfer detail. Check off-site shuttle hours and return pickup instructions, or compare an airport hotel with parking.

Using the SEA Airport Parking Garage

Choose the correct floor

Use floors 1–3 or 5–8 for drive-up General Parking. Floor 4 is for customers with an advance Reserved Parking booking.

Remember your location

Photograph the floor, row and nearest elevator or skybridge. SEA’s garage is large, and similar-looking sections are easy to confuse after a trip.

Walk to the terminal

Follow signs to the pedestrian skybridges. Add time for unloading, elevators, the garage walk and reaching your airline’s check-in area.

Oversized vehicle: Confirm the garage height clearance before arriving. If your vehicle will not fit, compare nearby off-site facilities and verify their vehicle-size rules directly.

Practical SEA Parking Tips

Compare the final checkout total

Daily headlines may exclude taxes, facility fees or reservation charges. Use the total for your exact entry and exit times.

Save return instructions

Screenshot the shuttle pickup area, phone number and reservation confirmation before flying. Do not rely on finding the email after landing.

Build in Seattle traffic

Road congestion can change quickly. Add parking, unloading, walking or shuttle time on top of your normal airport arrival target.

Check cancellation rules

Flight schedules change. Compare the cutoff time, refund conditions and procedure for extending a reservation.

Use the Cell Phone Lot correctly

The Cell Phone Lot is for drivers waiting to pick up arriving passengers. It is not an overnight or trip-parking option.

Consider light rail

Link light rail serves SeaTac/Airport Station. For a longer trip, compare transit or rideshare costs against multiple days of parking.
